Improvised Mauser Suppressor (OIF)

This photographs was posted on the U.S. Department of Defense Media Activity’s public domain website DVIDS along with another one featured on Silah Report. Both depict improvised suppressors captured by U.S. Infantrymen while on operations in Iraq. The rifle appears to be a Mauser 98K with the stock sawed off just past the chamber.
