In the seventh podcast of Silah Report, with the presence of Vlad, Adham, Miles, Hrachya, Abuzaben, Ataka, AnalystMick, Daniel and MENA, we discussed a number of topics that would be just silly trying to cover all of them in the title!
https://soundcloud.com/silah-report/v6-malhama-tacticals-abu-rofiqs-death-jordanian-1911-iranian-haydar-syrian-rebels-am50-and-more
We started with the killing of Abo Rofiq, the PR face of the infamous Malhama Tactical Group.

Also, This interesting picture for an Egyptian Republican Guard with an M4 Carbine in 9X19mm and a scope attached on the top handguard raised some eyebrows.
Following the previous podcast and what Vlad had said, Adham got some more details on Egyptian “small arms handling procedures” so to say!

Analyst Mick shared with us this beautiful Iraqi golden plated AM50’s clone!

Ataka brings up the Haydar! An Iranian Anti Materiel rifle chambered in 12.7mm.

Miles also speaks about the Jordanian production of CZ pistol copies and the upgraded 1911. Quality not seen anywhere else (besides Israel) in the region!
Also, Vladimir is in love with the Jordanian 1911 and would love to get one as a present.

Adham also brings up briefly the usage of SIG 516 by Egyptian troops especially in operations in Sinai against ISIS.

We can’t simply mention Egypt without trying to find some antiques! Egyptian Security arrested two individuals (unrelated to terrorism) who apparently
had in their humble arsenal bolt action rifles! Most likely being M48s,

Analyst Mick also brings up this rebel made clone of Iran’s AM50, which itself is an unlicensed clone of Austria’s Steyr HS.50, the irony!
The clone appears to be well made and has a very interesting camouflage pattern.
Note: Miles did not get his shoes covered in blood when he visited Jordan
