(1:00) The cache included many PG-7VT rocket-propelled grenades and a variety of munitions. PG-7VTs have previously been used extensively by ISIS in Iraq, especially in the Battle for Mosul.
It is still unknown how many PG-7VTs, and other weapons, ISIS has hidden around the country.
Also in another raid, Iraqi security forces captured a World War Two-era British Boys bolt-action anti-tank rifle (.55in or 13.9 × 99 mmB). It is intriguing to see what ISIS have in storage. Unfortunately, we couldn’t deduce whether the Boys anti-materiel rifle was rechambered into a more readily available calibre. There appears to be no sign of any ammunition for the weapon in the photograph.
